The council has been awarded four stars – the equivalent of the old‘ Excellent ‘rating and is judged to be “improving well”. Cheshire County Council has again been rated among the country’s top authorities by the Audit Commission. We have now been rated amongst England’s top performing authorities for the last five years out of six.
